Beth Guajardo
I have worked with Kathy in various capacities for almost twelve years. In the beginning, we worked together to admit international students from the university's ESL program into the College of Business' graduate programs. When I changed positions, we continued to work together to assist international exchange students with the course registrations and orientation into the college. She is a colleague who has always gone the extra mile with students and with her co-workers. Her job has grown exponentially over the years, but she continues to provide personal, immediate, and outstanding service to students. She guides them efficently and professionally, helping them to achieve their academic goals - whether it is course, graduation, study abroad, or internship advice. Along with her student advising responsibilites, she oversees a team of advisors, works with faculty members and department chairs on academic programming, and is responsible for coordinating graduate admissions and marketing/program growth. She is a consummate professional who is admired and respected by all. I give her the highest recommendation possible.
Angeles (Angie) Cordova, MBA, PHR
I met Kathy when I was an MBA student at UTSA and had the pleasure to work, interact and travel with Kathy in several ocassions. Kathy is very responsive and always goes out of her way to serve students at UTSA, inside and outside school. She looks for ways to accomodate the needs of each student and really makes a huge school like UTSA feel like home.
