  As a 2021-2022 Cedar Commission artist, I wrote, composed and performed a 45 minute original song cycle. The piece, Swampling, is an eco-horror electronic folk show inspired on local wetland ecology and history, Swamp Thing comics, and experiences as a queer disabled academic and activist. The performance was a live collaboration with hiphop beatmaker and producer SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE.   I am part of the staff team at Redeemer Center for Life, a church-based non-profit engaged in the vibrant community life of the Harrison Neighborhood. RCFL supports community celebrations, after-school programs, mentoring, entrepreneurial initiatives, and conversations around racial and economic justice. As artist in residence, I facilitate art projects with community members of all ages. In 2014, I completed the translation of a full-length biography, "Power for Nepal: Odd Hoftun and the History of Hydropower Development." I have been a simultaneous interpreter for many sermons, lectures and meetings, and have experience using headsets.
