I worked with Kat for four and a half years at DealerSocket. Throughout that time, I had the opportunity to work with her in three different roles. She started as a QA analyst and was a natural at the job. She picked up testing techniques quickly, followed and helped expand our process, and she was able to help the development team raise their quality. Her testing was beyond thorough including always using written test plans and performing regular exploratory testing. She wasn’t just effective at her job; she was also fun to work with. She was always quick with a joke, and able to put you at ease even if she was telling you that your work was not meeting expectations. Early in my management role at DealerSocket, I had the opportunity to fill a ScrumMaster role on one of my teams. Kat not only accepted the challenge, she made it look easy. She was able to jump in, come up to speed quickly, and contribute at a high level. She is a natural leader and was able to help raise the bar for the team including by putting some key processes in place to drive quality and predictability. During this time, she earned the DealerSocket Presidents Club award for her outstanding contribution on the team. Over the last year and a half, I had the pleasure of working with Kat as she mastered a new role as a Product Owner for DealerSocket. As a Product Owner she quickly gained a reputation throughout the organization for her effectiveness and was invited to join the Enterprise group. In this role she has been able to help DealerSocket wrangle complex product requirements and enable teams to deliver on enterprise concerns such as SSO, cloud data strategy, and acquisition integrations. And oh yeah, she earned another Presidents Club award. Kat is the one of the best examples I’ve seen of a rock star in the workplace. It was a pleasure working with her at DealerSocket. I hope that our paths cross again in the future.

Kat is an excellent scrum master who was able to organize our team and strengthen our abilities during a crucial work project. She is a dedicated employee not just to the team but to the company overall. Any company with Kat at it is one that is likely to meet its commitments and ensure that the project completes successfully.
