Previous experience on Footwear, Accessories and Hosiery. I am currently solely responsible for buying approximately 400 options per season across two phases on the Essentials department, which includes nightwear and underwear. Buying for both UK and international markets and presenting my range to franchise partners four times a year for them to select from, ensuring all their needs and individual requests are met. Briefing suppliers on products for upcoming ranges; and range building alongside the buyer. Ensuring key lines are put forward to the Marketing Team to be used for appropriate campaigns and POS.Daily use of computer systems; inputting sensitive and specific data in order to upload and process orders accurately.Managing fit sessions with suppliers and technicians, playing a key role in the fitting and sealing process. Managing critical paths, coordinating weekly meetings, and sending weekly updates to the rest of the team ensuring any delays are flagged and managed accordingly. Managing entry level Merchandising and Buying Assistants. Managing the approval of all trim and strike off submissions.Working closely with the Merchandiser in order to develop the range construction, selecting carry over lines, and choosing lines for promotions and markdown.Analysing Monday trade figures and presenting highlights and lowlights to the wider team weekly.
