Working as part of the Human Factors team to support multiple Safety Critical industries. My role includes: - Conducting qualitative and quantitative task analysis including the use of HTA, TTA, SHERPA and NARA. - Supporting Human Reliability Assessments using NARA and THERP to provide Human Error Probabilities and reporting the findings in technical reports. - Applying government standards and regulations in Safety Critical sectors. - Integrating Human Factors in control room layout and design in both the Nuclear and Rail industry. - Conducting Safety Critical Task Analysis using the energy Institutes methodology. - Understanding nuclear power plant systems to support both Nuclear New Build and Nuclear Generation. - Attending HAZOPS and FARs as the Human Factors representatives throughout multiple phases of the design. - Developing the Human Based Safety Claims and supporting Safety Functional Requirements and Administrative Safety requirements to support the Safety Case. - Working closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements. I worked as part of the Human Factors team within Jaguar Land Rover. Role includes: - Compiling written requirements for vehicle controls - Liaising with the different teams to create vehicle parts - Generating strategy documents to guide Design teams - Creating ideas for icon designs on the controls - Own features to ensure they are being delivered and ensuring each team is aligned with the development of the feature.
