I act as a key liaison between… Show more As Vice President of Activities and Services within the Students' Association, I am a full-time elected representative representing over 49,000 students. I work with both students and the University to support our student societies, improve our shops, cafes and bars, and ensure students feel a part of the University community. In particular, my key long-term projects focus on improving the student experience and facilities on our satellite campuses. I act as a key liaison between students and the University, I addressed student concerns about University spaces in meetings and working groups. My role also encompassed influencing key decisions affecting student experiences by offering ideas and presenting the students' viewpoints. As a Trustee of our charity, I am responsible for ensuring the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of the Students' Association. Moreover, I chair the Strategic Development sub-committee, which contributes to our long-term strategic planning and ensures the longevity of the charity. I am also part of Student Council meetings allowing me to present detailed accountability reports and engage directly with students to provide transparency about my work.
