Kat is what I would call a lucky hire! Her range of talent truly exceeds the Project Manager title. She is a reliable and fast-learning project manager, as well as an efficient and skilled illustrator, audio professional, and overall creative mind who gets the job done on so many fronts. It's truly a pleasure to work with Kat day-in and day-out. She never ceases to amaze me with her artistic ability & adaptability, as well as with her commitment to the team and the work!

Project Manager - Content
-
Feb 2022 - Present
At Storypod I work in content as a project manager. In this role, I work collaboratively with my team, as well as with licensors to research and create quality children's educational audio experiences. I also work to create physical products, such as books, activity and trivia cards, tokens, and amigurumi yarn characters that we call 'crafties'. With Storypod I have illustrated and supported the writing and development of 3 Storypod original Board Books teaching shapes, colors, body parts, and clothing. I have also illustrated artwork for other products, such as tokens, within the company that are featured on the Storypod website and available for sale. Additionally, I write scripts for audio-based experiences and content for children ages 0-6+, managing audio production timelines, sound designers, authors, and writers from the ideation of a project to the submission of a final product. This role has given me a deeper understanding of book publishing, audio-content development, product development and management, toy development, content strategy, and more. Show less
