Prior to graduate studies, Webster began an apprenticeship to famed sculptor Jackie Winsor in a highly coveted position. Thereafter, she worked as a gardener in New York’s Central Park installing The Shakespeare Garden. Mentored by the landscape architecture industry’s leading talent in both New York and California, she honed her skills as a landscape designer before launching Katharine Webster MLA, Inc. in San Francisco in 2000. She has collaborated with architects, interior designers and general contractors on a broad spectrum of projects in San Francisco, Marin, the South Bay, and wine country. She has also dazzled attendees with her incredible projects at three consecutive San Francisco Decorator’s Showcases. Show less
