Our AI agent, Maxwell combines medical imaging with deep learning to deliver quantitative precision diagnostics. The first model available on Maxwell is for prostate cancer. Maxwell reads prostate MR imaging and provides clinicians with real time quantitative and visual reporting on the prostate and potential lesions. Maxwell has the potential to replace the current diagnostics – and become the de-facto screening tool for prostate cancer. For radiologists it eliminates the need to tediously segment and annotate potential lesions – accelerating reporting speed, improving accuracy and repeatability, and reducing misdiagnosis risk and interobserver variability. Biarri Rail‘s primary product suite provides enterprise Rail customers with an advanced tool set, for optimising and scheduling locomotive, crew and vehicle movements. My role as a Full Stack Developer involved the development of front-end systems, using Python and AngularJS and more recently React and Redux, for configuration and interaction with complex optimisation engines. My role also included product feature enhancements for a number of production polyglot systems. Sample projects included addition of data export facilities to existing products, management of complex domain models and development of configuration GUIs for controlling engine parameter sets. Fugro Roames provides data processing and research for multiple remote sensing disciplines. A primary focus, is identification of powerlines and vegetation risk from LIDAR and high resolution aerial imagery. My role as a Full Stack Developer included development of novel software systems to support ongoing research efforts. Projects included the design and development of a web-based image markup tool, designed to capture classified data and feed downstream machine learning and quality assurance processes. My responsibility for the project included prototype design and production implementation. The final system utilised multiple AWS Services in a serverless architecture. The system was deployed using infrastructure as code techniques via AWS Cloudformation. The first use of the image mark up tool was to provide training data to a system segmenting power poles from car mounted video streams. Another project involved the training and implementation of an OpenCV based Haar Cascade pole top image detection system utilising ortho- rectified aerial photographs. The primary focus of this project was to develop a database including a Web-Service (REST) and a web-application to grant open access to the research community to the manually curated and presented data. This database was named AMDB, which stands for Antimicrobial Database. AMDB has been developed as a part of the Community for Open Antimicrobial Drug Discovery. The key focus was to create a manually curated antimicrobial drug development database, which can be used as a golden standard and reference data set. It distinguishes itself through presenting data of chemical aspect and activity values for certain strains and organisms. This project concentrates on the evaluation of the clustering performance of different feature selection and clustering methods for subtype discovery in the field of cancer. A pipeline has been developed to analyze a large number of datasets automatically. It should provide researchers in the drug and treatment sector with a broader and more detailed picture.
