Kate Yeash served commendably on the Whittier Scholars Council as a student representative for two semesters. The Council is the governing body of the Whittier Scholars Program (WSP) and is composed of dedicated faculty and staff members who represent each division of the College. We highly value the commitment and contributions of the student members. Ms. Yeash was one of two WSP students that served a one-year term in 2018. The student representatives actively participate in the weekly meetings and offer important contributions to our policy making. Kate’s input regarding curricular revisions and other program recommendations was extremely valuable.
