To practice everything I learned and gain experience in iOS programming, I challenged myself to create a clone of the Storytel app from the App Store. I worked on this project on my own, without following any tutorials. That allowed me to work with specific technologies and sharpen my skills. I created the UI entirely programmatically and spent a lot of time on refactoring and debugging. Skills & Technologies I used while working on this clone: Swift | UIKit | Xcode | Networking (REST, JSON, Alamofire) | Core Data | Auto Layout | GCD | SPM | Basic Animations | Git | UI programmatically | MVC | OOP | Dynamic Type | Debugging | Refactoring | Researching | ChatGPT. Currently I'm working on my own pet project app. The next step in my learning process is to learn Firebase, refactoring MVC into MVVM, and different frameworks such as SwiftUI, Combine or RxSwift, and more.
