I was lucky enough to have Katerina as my technical coach while studying at Makers Academy. Katerina really helped me to grow as a developer, evolving my skills and abilities and technical approach to problem-solving. Katerina was the first person to make 'TDD' - test-driven development, really click in my brain. There was something about the way she explained the concept to me that allowed a deeper understanding to flower in my mind. This transformed my approach to problem-solving and allowed me to see my programming process in a whole different light. This has become an invaluable tool in my belt. Katerina was always available and willing to help when I was stuck or struggling on a problem or just wanted to understand something better. She also had a way to make me smile and laugh and brighten my day while educating me and helping me to advance my technical knowledge and approach. Katerina really is a wonderful and lovely person. She is funny, quirky, smart and kind and seems to really love the work that she does. So, of course, I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone out there. Thank you Katerina for your support throughout Makers Academy, the work that you do is hugely appreciated and valued, and has helped me to launch myself into a career that I love.

Katerina has been a software coach at Makers for the last two years. I couldn't be happier that she chose to join our team because it's rare to find someone knowledgeable about software and passionate about training others at the same time. Katerina genuinely loves mentoring others, which helped us train hundreds of students and apprentices over the last two years. My team and I found it easy working with Katerina: she's responsible and dedicated to her work, so I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again, given the chance!
