Working with a learner case load of 60, delivering Health and Social Care Level 2 & 3 to Learners. I have inhered a case load where I am having to rebuild relationships with disengaged learners and employers, I have worked strongly to build good relationships and to re-engage learners. I have successfully done this through clear communications as well as building repour and setting clear goals for the learner and objectives. My learners currently work though 5 booklets outlined within the framework, I then prepare them to sit a multiple-choice question exam and sit a case study paper. We together look through the Qualifications framework to help the learner and employer decide on the best practical unit's dependent on the type of Care Setting the learner works in. Using several different methods to build a complete portfolio such as written work, Key witness testimony’s, observations, and recoded discussions. I have had to prioritise cases who are close to the end of funding to ensure they start to achieve targets I have found moving these learners onto a digital platform to reduce the need for emails back and forth has greatly enabled the learners to progress and create a smoother learning experience. My role includes managing my caseloads, setting my work schedule, meeting with both clients and employers. From previous management experience I look at the business objectively, although I am a driving force within the office to ensure that processes are simplified including several which have been implemented within the short time I have worked at Sirius and digitalised making my learner journey more efficient and beneficial.
