I worked with Kate Maguire when I was head of HR EMEA at Harley-Davidson. Kate is passionate and knowledgeable about her subject area and has a great eye for detail. Kate is an exceptional deliverer of training and helping people to learn and develop. Kate and I were required to work through a very challenging situation, and she remained professional throughout an extremely difficult time. We remain in contact and Kate has been a great support to me as I have recently started my own HR consultancy.

I have known Kate for many years as a work colleague whilst employed at Harley-Davidson Europe. When I started at Harley-Davidson, Kate was the IS Director, and the first thing I noticed about Kate was that she was a natural, strategic Business Partner to our organisation. The impact this had on the business was : a) All the Business Unit Leaders regarded her as highly competent, organisationally savvy, very capable, and highly responsive as a personal and professional trait. Later, when Kate was promoted into an Operational Effectiveness role, it ignited her passion for "Time-Cost-Quality" ways of thinking, believing, and acting. And she motivated us 'slugs' into joining her on this journey to realise efficiencies! What a great impact she had working across different cultures and geographies. This speaks to: a) Her intellectual curiosity and her ability to turn it into practice and action b)Motivate others! c) She started transforming our ways of working, little by little, and sustained executive support here and in the US for our initiatives! It was such a please to work with Kate, and would love to have the opportunity to work with her again. If she ever decides to explore teaching, she would be so naturally effective at it with her commercial and academic successes. Lucky the students!
