LOWVELO is an annual fundraising bike ride around the Lowcountry that rallies people together to raise money for innovative and lifesaving cancer research at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center as well as promote health and wellness throughout the Charleston community. LOWVELO 2021 will be an in-person cycling event held on IOP on Nov. 6th with four road routes, stationary cycling classes, and the option for people to also participate at home. Each rider commits to the cause by fundraising at least a minimum amount based on their chosen distance. 100% of every participant-raised dollar from this event goes directly to cancer research at the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center: MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. Our goal is to inspire South Carolinians and beyond to be healthier and raise money to find a cure for cancer and not stop until we are living in a cancer-free world. To learn more and register to participate on November 6th, please visit https://lowvelo.org/. #CuringCancerTogether #LOWVELO21
