  I worked for the Mountain View Credit Union from April, 2014, until August, 2014. Throughout the summer, I worked in various branches throughout the organization including Sundre, Didsbury and Cremona. In the beginning of the summer, I worked as a Member Service Representative located in Sundre. As a teller I learned about banking from the front line. I learned about assisting the customers from the moment they first walk into the bank. During my time in Sundre, I had several mentors who assisted me. After about six weeks I began to job ,shadow a Member Service Officer and was transferred to Didsbury. I learned how to do basic loans, account openings and investments. Show less

  I spent the majority of my time in the sheep and goat barn. My main roles were to prepare livestock for sale, help during the sale and help load out and clean up after the sale.   While working at the county I had many different roles. In the early months I spent time seeding grass, looking for weeds, and mowing grass. Later in the season I sprayed many ditches, leases and gravel pits. It was my job to mix the chemical that I would be spraying as well as maintain my truck, trailer and gator. Throughout the summer I also got to work on reclaiming a gravel pit and assisted at some county events. Working at the county gave me experience in the agriculture industry. I got to gain experience identifying and applying herbicide to weeds. It was a good learning experience and I gained a new skill set while working at the county. Show less
