  My responsibilities include opening and closing the store by being accountable for our registers, bank deposits and being a key holder. I run and oversee the daily functions of the sales staff and motivate them. I receive and send out freight. I strategize on getting new shoes out on the floor, merchandising the product on the shelves, and move space from one part of the store to another. I oversee quarterly inventories. I assist customers in their shopping and also handle any discrepancies or dissatisfied customers. I guide my management and sales staff in setting up promotional sets, merchandising guides and seasonal flips. I make weekly schedules, and am in charge of hiring and firing along with all human resource paperwork that goes with that.
