Working with NeuroSpine Lab at SFU Surrey I managed and conducted the mechanical design of a spinal contusion injury device and frame. The goal of this project is to improve upon the current system used to study spinal contusion injuries. I gained experience in project management, part sourcing, mechanical design, and client relations. I also had the opportunity to present my research at the University of British Columbia SBME Conference.
