In this role I created effective integrated behaviour change strategies to drive positive social impact, on issues such as blood & organ donation, road & railway safety, climate change, public transport behaviour, food waste, and community building. This involved working with a diverse range of clients from the public and charity sectors, such as Network Rail, NHS Blood and Transplant, Department for Transport, WRAP, the NHS, Eden Project and National Lottery Community Fund. In addition to client work, I held responsibilities such as line management, running training sessions on behaviour change, and contributing to agency IP and thought leadership. This included authoring the Public Sector evaluation section of the Eff Test for the IPA. I also worked on new business, leading on the strategy for the agency's biggest pitch win of the year. In this role, I worked with Public Health England to help the nation develop healthier habits. With nearly two thirds of the UK weighing in as overweight or obese, one in five of us still smoking and one in six deaths caused by our couch-potato lifestyles, this was an enormous challenge. My day-to-day work involved using insights from the behavioural sciences and market research to develop customer journeys and digital strategies across multiple brands and campaigns.
