I supervised Kate for a year (her Senior year). She was an amazing Resident Assistant during her time in Housing at the University of South Dakota. She has a great personality, is an extrovert and knows how to connect with people. She held multiple positions of power at the college setting and she did a great job in balancing that and communicating boundaries with her peers while still being friendly and welcoming. I have no doubts Kate will succeed in her future endeavors and, as I often told her, I was privileged to supervise her because she made my life much easier on a daily basis. Her initiative, drive and discipline make a world of difference in any team setting. I will miss having Kate as an employee however I am also grateful to have the opportunity to recommend Kate Solberg to any future employers considering hiring her.
