Kate Towey has to be one of the most amazing people I've ever worked with. Despite being under huge amounts of pressure she has the ability to rise above it and think long-term, be solution-focused and do everything with great humour. She is incredibly bright, very talented and a wonderful communicator. I cannot recommend her highly enough

Abbie Pugh

Kate is bright, committed and incredibly conscientious. Her hard work and dedication was hugely valuable to the team. She is thoughtful, considerate and always keen to learn. During her time with Rainmaker she was promoted from Office Manager to Membership Manager and adapted well despite high pressures and the rapidly evolving structure of the organisation and her role.

Digital inclusion is no longer something that’s ‘nice to have’ – it’s an essential. Being cut off from the digital world isn’t just an inconvenience – it compounds and exacerbates poverty. That’s no longer something we can ignore if we’re interested in a just society. In my role, I build partnerships with organisations and companies who want to see an end to digital poverty by 2030. Rainmaker Foundation harnesses the power of a network of diverse and dynamic individuals and organisations dedicated to driving positive social change. By building a community of people dedicated to making a difference in the world, Rainmaker empowers small charities to fulfil their potential. This is done through a charities accelerator programme, which seeks to increase charities’ chances of securing income and to find ways of using those funds as effectively as possible. The collaborative approach is supported by generous and talented members – known as Rainmakers – whose networks, funds and expertise enable the drive towards greater social impact, and ensures a focused exchange of ideas and resources that fosters innovative solutions to social and environmental problems, leading to a better world for all.As Membership Manager at Rainmaker Foundation, it was my responsibility to work with the team to accomplish the following:- Foster a positive community environment where every member feels equally valued.- Help drive the growth of our membership by collecting and using data to inform strategy.- Bolster member loyalty and retention by delivering a consistently excellent service, in person and through regular communication.- Provide opportunities for members to engage in Rainmaking, as often as possible!
