As a BlueMoon writer and contributor reporting directly to Kate, I find that Kate has demonstrated some truly inspiring leadership qualities. She was approachable and receptive towards the ideas proposed by her colleagues. Moreover, Kate has shown the willingness to help them in realising their ideas as she was determined to create a greater awareness and appreciation towards the work of her writers and the campus magazine here at the University of Hertfordshire. Kate was also a well connected person and it was through her that I got the opportunity to interview a fashion entrepreneur and designer, as well as to work with a London-based stylist for a shoot for the fashion pages of BlueMoon. Ultimately, it was a pleasure working with Kate and I am happy to recommend her to employers.

Kate has a real flair for journalism in terms of both ideas and writing. She has backed that up with hard work, a year abroad studying even more journalism (including a press conference with the Australian PM) and editorship of the university magazine. She works well in a team and would be an asset in either PR or journalism."
