I have had a front-row seat to Kate’s meteoric rise from intern to skilled Advertising Sales Account Executive. Kate and I joined the Tourism Authority months apart, and I've had the pleasure of working with her in various capacities for the past 7-years. Ten months ago we were fortunate enough to bring Kate on-board to our newly constituted Marketing Partnerships team as an Account Executive during a critical sales cycle. With very little training we handed Kate a book of accounts and sent her into the field and she hit her initial sales goal. What makes Kate successful is that she seeks to create solutions for the customer, not to make a sale. She has trusted relationships with her clients, and puts their needs first. Kate is extremely smart and talented. She learned new skills every day as part of our team, and showed great capacity to adapt and grow at an extremely fast pace.
