      During my placement in the St Vincent's Complex Care (Chronic Disease) team, I attended home visits to clients with chronic disease who are at risk of further hospital admission. I conducted voice therapy with a client with Parkinson's Disease, trained a laryngectomy client in the use of a TTY phone, and educated a number of clients about safe swallowing strategies. I also conducted a benchmarking project on the dysphagia education provided to COPD rehabilitation groups at St Vincent's in comparison to other metropolitan hospitals.
