As the Advisor, Rule of law to the GIZ Police Programme Africa - Nigeria, I support criminal justice reforms in terms of capacity building, enhancing transparent process and local cooperation for stakeholders in line with best practice and the UN Sustainable Development Goals - particularly Goal 16 on peace, justice and inclusive societies. As an Associate, I actively participated in legal transactions ranging from Litigation, Commercial and Corporate practice which cuts across the globe. Participating in oil subsidy cases and civil proceedings which involves drafting court processes, arguing motions, examination of witnesses, production of documents for the purpose of leading credible and factual evidence both in District courts and Superior courts of record. Providing legal services to the concessionaires of the largest hydro generating plants in the privatization of the Electricity sector in Nigeria. Negotiating Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) on behalf of MDAs and private investors as well as drafting the 30-year PPP Concession Agreement for the construction of a USD$210 million corporate office for an MDA via a Swiss challenge, which was the first of its kind in Nigeria. Registration of companies, conducting legal search and filing post incorporation documents to mention but a few. I am passionate about using legal concepts (such as Crowdfunding and Public-Private Partnerships), as a tool for the socio-economic growth of the African continent. Show less
