I worked with the Club Marine business to undertake an end to end risk and controls review, develop a comprehensive Controls Assurance Program, and to align the business to the Allianz corporate risk governance framework. This involved identification of business and compliance risks, articulation of control weaknesses and improvement opportunities, and design and implementation of new and improved controls. I worked with a major investment bank to identify weaknesses in their regulatory reporting environment which could impact their compliance with global regulators. This included trade, transaction, prudential, and statistical reporting, and considered global obligations (e.g. MiFID, FCA, CFTC, SEC, APRA, ASIC). I have worked with two large Australian banks on major resubmissions of regulatory returns relating to their mortgage books. A key focus of these engagements was strengthening their processes and procedures and improving data quality. I have worked with a major telecommunications company to identify and recover approximately $21m of lost revenue. This included root cause analysis and planning process improvements and initiatives to remediate weaknesses in the control and operating environment. I led a Fleet Transformation project for a government owned utility company designed to reduce the risk and cost of fleet services within the organisation. This involved leading a project team of 25 people.
