Wandering Bird specialized in music videos, commercials, social media content and art pieces that brought a stylistic and modern taste while engaging a diverse range of audiences and clients.   As the marketing manager Kate created, wrote, filmed and edited commercial and social media content. Along with running and maintaining social media accounts, and the website Kate also designed an interactive AR system that would function as an online menu, ordering system, and knowledge network that would engage customers while they were waiting for their coffee to learn more about the industry and the origin of their coffee. The main goal of this system was to entertain customers as they waited in line and connect them to every step before their coffees reached them. I was the editor for the short documentary Girls Like Us, about a Tanzanian non-profit teaching girls how to code. Follow Winnie as she strives for her dreams and conquers the challenges of being a young woman working towards the tech industry in Tanzania.
