  EM-VA is an events management and volunteering agency in association with the University of Huddersfield. Over the past year I have solely managed the company. My role is to run the company itself, everything from finding new business, to planning/running events to social media and networking. It has not only taught me a great deal about running my own events company but has given me the experiences of being able to manage events from a concept through to the event day.   I currently work at John Smith's Stadium both on match and non match days. Here I provide hospitality on all events. I have also worked on events here outside of work hours, The Huddersfield Town Fashion show was the latest event I worked on. I was a runner for the fashion show, organising all the models and making sure they were catwalk ready. It is a role I thoroughly enjoyed.
