Kate has been an outstanding student during her time as an undergraduate on the Media and Communication programme. She is a hard-working, focused and collegial individual who is always prepared to step in when needed. During her time at the University of Winchester, she has played a leading role in our community. Her passion for radio presenting and podcasting led her to become the Head of Programming at Sound Radio, the multi-award-winning radio station for the University of Winchester. Under her guidance Sound Radio has flourished. The airwaves won’t be the same without her. She has also served as a Student Academic Representative (StAR), where she has represented the voices of her peers, providing constructive feedback on how to better shape the student experience. In addition, Kate has been a highly valued Course Champion for the Media and Communication Programme, representing the Programme at Open Days, both online and offline.
