The Centre for Community-Driven Research (CCDR) is a non-profit organisation that I established in 2012 to bring much needed change to the way we think about community engagement in health and research. CCDR currently have offices in Australia, Switzerland and the United Kingdom with a goal of driving a more person-centric health sector. Our flagship program is called Personal Experience, Expectations and Knowledge (PEEK) where we acknowledge the expertise of patients and are building a repository of patient experience data and public reports. We are building patient organisation networks in 18 countries and conduct pilot projects to test new ways of implementing community-based health programs. Through CCDR, I developed the Pathways Telehealth nurse program providing health system navigation support to our most vulnerable patients. Show less

Pancreatic Cancer Support Australia is a support service for pancreatic cancer patients and family members in Australia. Patients and their families can access a registered nurse to help them navigate the health system, access information about treatment, care and emerging research. We also support nurses working in the field through peer support and education opportunities. PCSA was hosted and governed by the Centre for Community-Driven Research and folded into the Patient Pathways program in 2019. Show less
