      I currently manage the Rooms Revenue side of the business for The Oakley Court; a 118 bedroom property based in Windsor and I am responsible for a developing team who cover Reservations, Dining Coordination, Housekeeping and occasional Guest Relations.Being adaptable I have the ability to work with a variety of computer systems including Opera, SynXis, Wordpress, Ezyield and Travelclick as well as web based systems including individual OTAs. Using Hotelligence and Rate360 I am able to analyse market data to be able to come to the best revenue decisions to drive our strategy. Part of my responsibility is managing 3rd party distribution sites as well as the GDS to ensure that they produce but do not exceed the budget where commission is concerned. I am hugely focused on driving direct business into the Hotel.One of the main parts of my job includes compiling an accurate room forecast and pricing matrix weekly as well as a monthly Board Pack solely for bedrooms. On a weekly basis I chair a Revenue Strategy Meeting where we discuss and set short, medium and long term objectives to support the delivery of the forecast for both the Rooms and Conference business.I designed and implemented a robust Reservation SOP, the training was delivered by me to the Reservations and Front of House teams highlighting our best practises. Duty Manager shifts are part of my working week and my position requires me to investigate and respond to internal and external customers regarding compliments and complaints.My day to day roles include analysis of the competition and implementation of our rate and distribution strategy. In March 2014 I was chosen to configure and implement the current Opera v5 system that we have and the MyFidelio Channel Manager alongside this. In August of 2015 we updated our Booking Engine and GDS provider to SynXis where I was heavily involved from the Hotel side.
