As a brand designer, I always have a desire for aesthetically pleasing and functional design. It’s this combination of attributes that makes any design great - including architecture. My husband and I knew Kate as we lived in the same community and we immediately liked her ethos and honest, professional, creative personality. However, we had never commissioned an architect before and were unsure what to expect. Kate was fantastic, she was able to really consider how we would live in the space and make it a functional yet beautiful home. She came up with a layout that we would never have thought about, allowing large flowing connecting spaces and making the most of the space to maximise natural daylight, all whilst retaining the character features. I would thoroughly recommend Kate, her approach and professionalism were of the highest quality and we are thrilled with the resulting family home.

Kate is an active member of RIBA Berkshire and continually strives to represent the interests of the profession and promote the role of the architect to the local general public. Kate has served as a 'Sustainability Expert' judge on the annual RIBA awards program and is involved with other awards schemes to promote architectural education, in conjunction with the University of Reading. RIBA Berkshire also initiate education events for young children encouraging appreciation of design, the build environment and sustainability. Show less
