Doctoral research project on the anti-cancer effect of Adriamycin (doxorubicin)-DNA adducts. -showed the effectiveness of Adriamcyin in combination with formaldehyde-releasing prodrugs-proved the clinical relevance of drug-DNA adducts as a mechanism of action of Adriamycin-developed a new ultrasensitive method for detection of Adriamcyin-DNA adducs at clinically-relevant levels never achieved before.
