Continuing to manage the implementation of the Australian NGO Gender Action Platform and support the monitoring and evaluation of the Australian NGO Cooperation Program.

  Designed and managed the selection process for the 2016-17 round of the Australian NGO Gender Action Platform, a $10 million competitive grants program to strengthen gender equality outcomes in the Indo-Pacific.Manage the performance and quality of the Australian aid program's largest NGO cooperation program, the ANCP. Approximately $130m per year supporting over 50 Australian NGOs working in around 50 developing countries. Key responsibilities involve stakeholder management, delivering monitoring and evaluation reports and undertaking monitoring visits in the field.

  Short term secondment to the Development Finance Section supporting Australia's contributions to the third international conference on Financing for Development. This involved coordinating whole of government positions of draft United Nations text, supporting negotiations at the United Nations and preparing briefing packs for Australian Government delegates attending the Conference in Addis Ababa.

  The Clinical Governance Committee oversees the clinical work of Gidget Foundation Australia to ensure the maintenance of clinical standards, quality and safety, and that ethics and risk are appropriately monitored and addressed. The Committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Foundation’s Board of Directors and staff. I have lived experience of birth trauma and postnatal anxiety. As a former client, I am passionate about advocating for postnatal depression and anxiety services for rural mothers, including the Start Talking Program; telehealth beyond COVID; and breaking down the stigma related to mental health.

  I was responsible for civil society and maternal and child health programs managed by Australia's Africa program before AusAID was integrated into the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. I managed a major review of a $10 million maternal and child health program in Ethiopia and have completed 2 short term missions to Nairobi post to assist with the $90 million partnership program I manage (see current description).   During the two and a half years in the Office for Women, I supported Australia's appearance before the Committee on the Convention to Eliminate All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) in July 2010. I assisted management of Australia's Support for Trafficked People Program, administered by the Red Cross. I also supported management of six National Women's Alliances funded to give a voice to Australian women and organised events surrounding the centenary of International Women's Day in Australia.
