Field Test coordinator coordinates work between Testers Team, Project Team (Project Manager) and registration authorities regarding process of authorization (homologation) to the newly developed train software of ETCS (European Train Control System) for international corridors in Europe. The Field Test coordinator can be described as a subproject leader for the subproject "field test". Is responsible for all testing activities in the course of the implementation of newly developed or revised software: - plans and controls all field test activities across the board, - brings together the work results of the testers, - determines and evaluates the work progress of the tests, - checks the test documentation of the testers with regard to formal correctness and appropriateness of the content of the tests, - points out weak points and pursues their correction, - makes a significant contribution to quality assurance and thus also to customer satisfaction.
