Working alongside the HIV positive community (Queensland Positive People; Positive Directions) and state government to explore the lived experiences of PLHIV at an intersection of ageing, social isolation and access to services in regional Queensland. PhD focus: the role of social networks and support systems in the management of long-term HIV in regional Queensland. Two-year long primary data collection in regional Queensland. Adapting various qualitative longitudinal research methods to capture and analyse the data: collaborating with the research group in the UK to enhance the quality of methods employed in PhD study and to archive the longitudinal data.
