  Australian Research Council PhD Scholarship to qualitatively explore over time the lived experiences of people living with HIV (PLHIV) in regional Queensland. Working alongside the HIV positive community (Queensland Positive People; Positive Directions) and state government to explore the lived experiences of PLHIV at an intersection of ageing, social isolation and access to services in regional Queensland. PhD focus: the role of social networks and support systems in the management of long-term HIV in regional Queensland. Two-year long primary data collection in regional Queensland. Adapting various qualitative longitudinal research methods to capture and analyse the data: collaborating with the research group in the UK to enhance the quality of methods employed in PhD study and to archive the longitudinal data.
