I am responsible for executing university communications strategy, including development and coordination of content as it relates to the university’s strategic plan and in collaboration with the communications and marketing teams. Content includes the university’s magazine, four internal newsletters for various audiences, feature stories, press releases, special publications, website content, social media and more. I represent University Communications and Marketing in university-wide initiatives, most recently in the university’s COVID-19 and bias response, and write communication plans and help execute them. I coordinate content for newsletters and calendar items, provide copy editing support and work with other members of the university community on important issues, including executive communications and crisis or emergency communications efforts, as well as manage two university social media accounts. I serve as one of two university editors, and have some experience with media analytics. I also serve as the communicator for the College of Art + Architecture, an editor for the university’s podcast, “The Vandal Theory” and project manager and copyeditor for the university's alumni magazine, Here We Have Idaho.
