  PhD degree at Molecular and Developmental Genetics in Leiden, where I focus on the regulation of polar auxin (plant hormone) transport. Specifically I work on the regulation of PIN-FORMED auxin effux carrier by the PINOID (like) kinases. I study this in the model organism of Arabidopsis thaliana and I use various molecular biology, microscopy and cell culture techniques.
