It is my pleasure to write this recommendation for Ms. Kashfia Rahman. I know Ms. Rahman for more than a year and we worked together for seven months during 2017- 2018 period. Kashfia Rahman Worked under my supervision as the Technical Coordinator of WiFI project at Care Bangladesh. WiFI was one of the five projects under the Dignified Work Program. Among all the projects WiFI was particularly the most complicated and important one. The project had approximately half a million-dollar budget and it was funded by Walmart Foundation. In order to fill-up, the technical coordinator position of this project Care senior management had to advertise twice as we were looking for a highly qualified incumbent. Kashfia Rahman applied for the position in the second round of advertisement and it is my utmost pleasure to say that I was a member of the selection team which interviewed and selected her. Ms. Rahman convinced the entire interview board of her capacity and came out to be the top candidate with the highest number in every area. As her direct supervisor, I had the opportunity to see Ms. Rahman in action. Her analytical capacity, writing ability, multi-tasking ability is exceptionally well. The specific characteristic that I would particularly like to mention is her very good negotiation skills and ability to close deals with consultants and different stakeholders. Because of the nature of the project, she needed to get engaged with the private sector, consultants and government officials. Her tenacity to handle a difficult situation is unlike anyone I have ever seen. Ms. Rahman has very good coordination capacity and organized several high-profile national level events engaging both the public and the private sector. She also presented her project in these events and Ms. Rahman's excellent public speaking and communication capacity helped the Dignified Work program to increase visibility of the project and convey the core massages more successfully to a wide range of stakeholders. She has excellent drafting skills and developed high-quality knowledge materials in English for different types of audience. Kashfia was a self-starter and highly motivated employee. She could resolve problems by herself with very limited or no supervision. She is a compassionate person who is very supportive of her colleagues. I often saw her going out of her way to help other team members. She has tremendous leadership potential and I believe she is destined to be a leader in this sector. She can be an asset for any organization and if there is an opportunity I would definitely like to work with her on the same team again.

I have known Kashfia for the last 5 years. She is a self-driven, result oriented person who has a great eye for details. We had a great time working together in Katalyst. I wish her all the best for her future endeavors.
