I had the pleasure of getting to know and working with Kasey during our time together at Momentum: Coding Bootcamp. I was lucky enough to work directly with her in our in final project. She was the lead architect in designing the look and feel of MonitorMe, an app inspired by her desire to simplify her daughter's endeavor to keep a complete and consistent migraine diary, in order to guide her treatment plan for photophobia. Kasey along with her team members got really ambitious and made the app customizable, so that users can use the app to track anything they desired and thus, not just restricted to a health diary. We had two weeks to complete this project along with the new ambitious goal and this is where Kasey shined. Under such a tight deadline, she kept us on track by checking in on us each day and offering help where she can as she had excelled at understanding and applying Python and Django concepts. Along with writing all the CSS for our app and making it look modern and clean, she wrote a style guide to keep our app looking consistent throughout. Kasey takes pride in her work, has a caring, yet fun-loving personality, and would make a great leader and teammate on any team.
