  Being part of the promo team involves attending a wide variety of events, festivals and launches etc. and promoting the station by interacting with the public and our listeners. I film content at each event we go to and put together content for our social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook & TikTok. In addition, I have received comprehensive training in marketing and promotions, where I served as the intermediary between our sales team and our production team. In this capacity, my responsibilities encompassed client and advertisement bookings, as well as facilitating the seamless progression of advertisements and scripts from initial concept to production to on air. This role also involves the meticulous scheduling of advertisements and promotions in advance, necessitating a constant need for sharp attention to detail and effective organizational skills. I am also trained in station administration which involves attending to calls & and emails, managing competition entries and prize winners, and serving as the central point of contact for the station's communications and inquiries.   I worked at Dunnes Stores part-time during the 3 years I was completing my undergraduate degree at Maynooth University. I began as Christmas staff in 2019 and was kept on then as a checkout operator and began training as a checkout supervisor in December 2020. I was then promoted to checkout supervisor in March 2021 which was a role which helped me gain invaluable experience and skills I will take with me into any working environment I find myself in in the future.
