End of May 2020 I had finished my traineeship. I continued working on earlier mentioned projects as a project architect.One of the projects, three apartment blocks, includes a 'design & build', which involves more decision-making and ofcourse more responsibility. Other projects are a 13-floor tower near Antwerp, a sustainable co-housing concept in Brussels and some architectural and security elaborations (for example fence plans and procedure concepts) for the Bavarian embassy. Working language is in Dutch (2 projects), French (1 project), German (a smaller project) and English (in general use).

Junior Engineer-Architect

Started with feasibility studies & competition design. One of the main projects was a huge transnational competition project for designing the new seat and headquarters of the European Commission. My team and I have won the third prize in this competition. I've also completed some permit phase middle and big projects. In general the works ranges from architectural propositions to structural advice. This includes the elaborated design, and the gathering and approving of all the necessary licences at the municipality and government. Next to that I'm managing the execution of a project. This work involves execution details and structural advice, the managing and checking of the construction site and the participation in meetings with all the different parties. Working as an experienced architectural intern. I have designed on different competition projects. Not only the architectural design, but also the technical elaboration. Furthermore was I working in a team on a further stage of development of the new Waldorfschule in Stuttgart. Working language was primarily in German and secondly in English.
