This work aimed at developing a mathematical framework to study the effect of temperature on diffusion-induced stresses (DISs) for a nano-structured solid spherical silicon anode particle, within the limits of small deformation. For that, mechanical equilibrium equation is coupled with the diffusion equation and the heat conduction equation using the contributions of compositional and thermal strains.
