My interactions with Kartikeya were during our time in Eaton working on Supercharger development. It was a pleasure working with someone who is a genuine engineer who always bases his arguments around first principles. He is passionate but not emotional and can be quite persistent if he sees sense in a particular engineering pursuit!

It was a very good experience working together with Kartik. There is no question that he has deep understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and solid mechanics. He is at home with all the needed tools in these fields: CFD, FEA, CAD, mathematics and programming. He is brilliant and very creative. While there are quite a few people in the world having these talents, what make him special are his attitude toward work and being an excellent team player. He documents his work so well that a layman can understand it and an expert can reproduce his results. After circulating his reports among the team, he will patiently answer any questions, no matter the questions are good or not. He always keeps himself busy in work. When there is a small gap in the work load due to the waiting time of machine, he will ask around and see what he can do to help others instead of relaxing and slowing down.
