I liased with the customers regarding their earthmoving equipment. Followed up on their complaints. Did assessments on their machines, prepared quotes for repairs. Once approved I organized the parts and the mechanics to repair the clients machines. I also did assessments on the customers machines for possible trade ins and other deals. I was in control of a workforce of 50 people. We were in the engine remanufacturing bussiness. I had the engines stripped, made assessment of the failure, prepared a quote to repair the engine. Engines were repaired to OEM spec with the most up to date machinery and technology. I was in control of quality of workmanship, standard of service delivery, and customer relations. I started my training as apprentice with this company, qualified as journeyman, later as apprentice trainer and Trade Test Official in the company. I am fully conversed on all facets of fitting, turning, precision grinding, boring, line boring, welding and other specialized repair procedures.
