Assists the probation officer or the assistant deputy district attorney in arranging for the appearance of school personnel who are key witnesses at Juvenile Court process. Conducts district wide workshops to keep staff apprised of any updates to Colorado Compulsory Attendance Law, Board Policy, or department procedures. Files an annual report with the superintendent summarizing school year activities, findings and recommendations regarding truants. Serves as a member of the dropout prevention committee, and Task Force.
