  - To operate the DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) to ensure the wastewater stream discharge is within mandated parameters set up by governmental regulatory agencies. - Monitor and control wastewater process system to maintain compliance with various governmental regulatory agencies, including chemical needs. -Maintain electronic and hard copy records/ documentation for internal and external audits, including standard daily log book records. Provide reports when requested. - Operate and monitor computerized control systems (PLC) and related equipment in wastewater treatment, sewage treatment and liquid waste plants to regulate the flow of sewage through settling, aeration and digestion tanks, and to treat and dispose of sewage and wastes. -Utilize production schedule in order to coordinate grab samples and other activities associated with permit requirements. - Proper usage, storage, handling and disposal of all related chemicals including various hazardous chemicals and management of restricted chemical room activities. - Troubleshoot and resolve system mechanical problems and assist other artisans with system major mechanical issues using blueprints, schematics, written/verbal instructions and manuals. - Manage transfer of liquid waste to outside haulers, dewatering of sludge accumulated from system.
