At Sellstate I started as the Administrative Assistant for Sellstate Priority Realty. As an Administrator, I was in charge of verifying that the office daily operations ran smoothly. I was in charge of receiving and routing calls, receiving and depositing commission checks, processing commissions, offering support to the real estate agents, as my role grew and I was trusted with more responsibilities, I was offered the Operations Coordinator position in the corporate office and transitioned into the new position. As the operations coordinator I have different responsibilities, I currently review and process the franchise documents, I help new franchisees to set up their franchises, coordinate and plan the annual summit, coordinate and plan the awards ceremony, coordinate and plan all the meetings and events, I work with the marketing department to create and develop lead generation campaigns, I am in charge of hiring administrators and oversee them. I offer training on the different platforms we have and use to administrators and real estate agents. Show less

My husband and I started this company because we both needed a job and employment opportunities were scarce in the area after the SW Florida took a hit when the Real Estate market collapsed. After extensive research, we saw there was a need for Property Preservation Services and we took the last of our savings and opened this small corporation. The main aspect of this business was catering to banks that were looking to preserve homes that had been abandoned as well as get homes which had been foreclosed, ready to sell. We completed all aspects of home maintenance and provided Handyman Services; Lawn Care; Pool Care; and completed minor repairs as well as securing the properties. I also acted as the banks local representative. Although the company is still open, it's currently not active since the real estate market has now bounced back and there is less need for preservation services. Show less

    • Administrator
      • Jan 2010 - Apr 2013

I was in charge of the day to day operations of the company. I was hired when they opened their doors in the area when the owners moved to Cape Coral from the North. Since this was essentially a new company, everything had to be created from scratch. Right from the start, I created complex spreadsheets using advanced features of excel in order to track sales. Then I went on to create business cards, car magnets, and the essentials for the start-up. As business progressed I started the creation of marketing materials and mailing lists, the marketing materials consisted of postcards, flyers, brochures, as well as looking up stats for the newsletters. Once we started mailers and marketing, I took charge of the website and worked with the developers to recreate the website pages to begin capturing leads. Once we began receiving leads in the office, I would complete the follow-up until the lead would become a sale, and passed on to the broker to complete. Once the business was off the ground and running I implemented a paperless system in order to track transactions and maintain compliance in order. Part of my duties was also to assist in the recruiting of quality real estate agents. In the 3 years I worked here, I helped grow the company from the ground to an outstanding amount of sales and agents. When the office began taking short sales, I would manage and follow up the short sale process, have all the proper paperwork filled out by the clients and was a liaison between the bank and the clients. Once they bought the phone I would set up their account and program their new phones within the system. I also had to up-sell phone accessories and meet sales quotas. Aside from sales, I had to answer phones, log complaints and resolve issues, set up payment plans for existing clients and take payments. I had an excellent track record of up-sells and getting customers into multiple phone line plans. Show less
