The Common Ground dialogues series are a university initiative to encourage student engagement and understanding of sensitive topics that include race, gender, sexuality, disability and religion. In preparation for these dialogues, this role required thorough research and preparation in cooperation with other dialogue leaders to identify appropriate resources, synthesize ideas and anticipate possible shortcomings. Along with this, during the hour-long dialogues, this role often required the ability to read the room to encourage conversation while also delegating with respect to different opinions.

This role included recording confidential client data in an efficient and accurate matter in a fast-paced environment, producing an average of 90 passports per day with same-day delivery.Along with data collection, I also assisted the consulate in hosting several events that promoted cultural exchange, cultural nurturing amongst the diaspora and diaspora outreach events concerning issues of importance including TPS organizing and information outreach for undocumented immigrants.
