Karla is hard working, dependable, proactive, flexible, and resourceful. She works well with a wide spectrum of personalities and skill levels to help her team grow. She consistently takes on more than required, will identify and resolve an issue before others will notice it, knows what needs to be done, and executes to an exceptional standard. Karla is one of the best people I have worked with. She mentored me in all aspects of hardware production, patiently taking the time to teach me (a systems engineer who primarily works with software) how to properly manufacture cabinets and cable harnesses to the highest professional standards, answering all of my many questions and guiding me in gaining a new skill set. Karla's expertise and willingness to foster communication and a learning environment is a great asset that she generously applies to her daily interactions. Her willingness to share her experience and knowledge as well as openness to ponder unconventional solutions resulted in design changes that improved efficiency for both teams. Karla communicates openly, honestly, and effectively. She proactively takes the time to repair any inadvertant miscommunication she observes between independent groups before a problem arises. Together we bridged the divide between the hardware production and the software/systems engineering teams which historically suffered due to a lack of communication and mutual misunderstanding as the teams operate differently and independently. The result was a cohesive group that respectfully communicates requirements and schedules, leveraging expertise from both sides to reduce costs while making a better product for the customer. Karla always goes the extra step and does what is needed in order to deliver the best product. Even those who don't work with her closely see her dedication and know her as a hard worker. She will be a great asset on any team.

I worked with Karla on many Government contracts. She is a very hard worker, determined, and very skilled at what she does. Karla would stay late, if she was needed in another state, she would be there the next day. Karla will be a great asset to any company that hires her. Karla will surely be missed.
